Fundo La Platina

Tremonte reflects the three mountains that directly influence its vineyard: the Andes Mountains, the Coastal Mountains, and Mount Rekewa (Depresión Intermedia). Named “Fundo La Platina”, this estate is located in the sixth region of O'Higgins, in the province of Cachapoal, commune of San Vicente de Tagua Tagua, 150 kilometers south of Santiago.

Its operation is mainly dedicated to the development and management of vineyards, obtaining the raw material for wines that reflect the terroir of the field. Its boutique vineyard was planted on the rocky and steep slopes of Mount Rekewa, which require extreme care in all activities. The management during this process is very meticulous, from soil fertilization, weed control, disease care, to pruning, with the aim of achieving adequate yields and obtaining good performance from the processed wines. The harvest is carried out manually, in conjunction with the community, and is done only by the most careful and experienced pickers. As a reward for this laborious work, which lasts a whole year, the result is grapes with provenance and high quality.

From Vineyard to Bottle: A Commitment to Excellence

Subsequently, the grapes to be processed are selected, taking care of the parameters in bottling and labeling, and then finalizing the process for export. Their vision is to deliver to their clients and consumers wines of the highest excellence, representing this meticulous work in the vineyard and winery, with each bottle of wine having a very clear origin, even down to the individual vines from which they came.
